Nell Cross Beckerman: Hi, my name is pronounced Nell Cross Beckerman. Now, when I was born, my name was Elizabeth Ellen Cross, but from the day I was born, my parents called me Nell. So I got tired of having to correct my teachers on the first day of school to say, no, my name's not Elizabeth, it's Nell. And when I was in high school, I legally changed my name, Nell Elizabeth Cross. And then when I got married, I changed it again to Nell Cross Beckerman. And there's not a lot of Nells out there. When I was little and I would be introducing myself to grownups, they often would say, "Nell. Oh, I'll save you, Nell." And I didn't really know what they were talking about, but it turned out that "I'll save you Nell," is a catchphrase from an old cartoon called Dudley Do-Right. So I got a lot of jokes like that when I was young, but almost no one makes that joke anymore because that cartoon is very old. So that's a little story about my name. Bye.
