Joanne Schwartz: Hello, my name is Joanne Schwartz. I like my name very much because I grew up in a small town in Cape Breton, and my family were the only Schwartz's in the entire region. And both my grandmother, Rose Schwartz, and my father, Irving Schwartz, were very, very beloved members of their communities, and they believed that you should do everything that you can to contribute to your community and give back to the community that you lived in and enjoy and grew up in and love so much. When I think about my name, Schwartz, I have very happy memories of the place I grew up in and my wonderful relatives.
