Crystal Allen: Hi. This is Crystal Allen. I was born in Germany, and that has a lot to do with my name. When my mom was pregnant with me, she ate a lot of chocolate, and Germany is known for chocolate, but she also really loved the glass. Germany is also known for making beautiful glass, like crystal, chandeliers, all kinds of things like that. Well, before we came back to the United States, my mom told my dad, "I want a lot of that crystal. I need to bring it back to the United States." And my dad said, "But honey, that costs a lot of money." My mom, being pregnant, and with lots of attitude at that time, said, "I don't care. I am not leaving Germany without some of that crystal." And that's how I got my name.
