Mercy Watson is an undeniably unusual pig. She loves hot buttered toast and moving at high speeds down the open road as a passenger in Mr. Watson’s convertible. Even better, Mercy knows, would be to sit behind the wheel of the car, and during one memorable Saturday afternoon outing she sees her chance to do just that. Unfortunately for Mercy, Officer Tomilello doesn’t share her belief that pigs should drive cars, and a chase ensues. Silly fun from start to finish, Mercy’s adventures as a “porcine wonder” will entertain young readers.
